TEMPEST stands for "Telecommunications Electronics Material Protected From Emanating Spurious Transmissions" and involves a broad range of technologies for protection from eavesdropping on electromagnetic equipment (like screens). Here its use is kind of the opposite - to utilize the transmission possibilities of electromagnetic radiation from screens. We will also have a look at how to build simple devices to listen to and record electromagnetic radiation from everyday items.
